Ruby red grapefruit balances with apples perfectly: a sweet and tart tizzy. Grapefruit is naturally loaded with vitamins and oh so delicious. Ceylon cinnamon, grown in India, is mildly sweet on the palate and compliments the citrus. Lemon juice rounds the flavor. We purposely created a flavor profile that was low on the glycemic index, utilizing Vermont Grade A maple syrup as our sweetener. Tying all the flavors together is the smoky, earthy essence of maca root, native to the Peruvian Central Andes, grown at extremely high altitudes.
